Character of the Month

It's already end of July and I must change the character of the month.

The character of the month is

Gin Ichimaru

Ex-captain of 3rd Squad

I will ask for or search for a nice picture of him. Maybe it will be uploaded later or tomorrow. Some info about him and wallpaper of Gin will be posted soon.

Q & A

The following Q & A are from the BLEACH WIKI.

  • Why is the story called "Bleach"?

In an interview in Shonen Jump Magazine, Tite Kubo revealed the reasoning behind Bleach's title:

The title wasn't Bleach when Tite Kubo decided to draw a story about Shinigami. This was before he drew the one-shot manga that appeared in Akamaru Jump. The weapon wasn't a sword, but a scythe. Only Rukia had a scythe and the other characters used guns. At that point, the title was Snipe (as in "Sniper"). Right before he started drawing, he began to think that a sword would be better and realized he couldn't use Snipe as a title anymore. He began looking for a title that grasped the bigger picture. Shinigami are associated with the color black, but it would have been boring to use "black". "White", on the other hand, can suggest black as a complementary color. So Tite Kubo chose "Bleach" to evoke the impression of the color white.

  • When will Hell Chapter come out?

Bleach: Hell Chapter is not out yet in English.

English Sub: Bleach: Hell Chapter will be released on DVD the 23rd of August. Once it is released on DVD, the subbers can then start subbing the movie which will take some time due to it's length. SGK fan subs, one of the alternative Bleach subbers to Crunchyroll, has announced that they will be subbing Hell Chapter. No release date has been announced by them though. Expect something around the end of August to maybe early September.

English Dub: The dub will take much longer. The average time between release of the movie and release of the dub has been around 2 years. 2013 is around when the dub will see release.

  • What happens to a plus after they are eaten by a hollow?

The soul is destroyed.

  • Is kensei muguruma still alive?

Kensei's status is unknown. He has not been seen or mentioned since releasing his Bankai against Wonderweiss, who later left that fight.

  • If Tier Harribel is confirmed to be alive why hasn't her status been changed from "Deceased" on the Espada page? (Wow, My favorite Character's alive!)

It will be changed when we review the translation.

  • If Hollow Ichigo and Zangetsu are the same being, how are they able to seperately manifest when Hollow Ichigo stated that whichever half is dominant is the only one that appears in Ichigo's inner world?

Zangetsu has shown the ability to rip Hollow Ichigo out of Ichigo when he is in his inner world.

  • Why was Gin trying to kill Aizen?

Because Aizen stole something from Rangiku.

  • Which espada are still alive?

Grimmjow's status is unconfirmed and Harribel is alive.

Cero Doble , Cero Oscuras and Cero Sincretico

Cero Doble
Spanish for "Double Zero", Japanese for "Heavy Performance Hollow Flash") is a variation performed by Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck, by swallowing her opponent's Cero and returning it back to the user along with her own Cero, making it more powerful.

 Cero Sincrético
Spanish for "Synchronized Zero", Japanese for "United Hollow Flash" is a variation performed by Dondochakka Birstanne and Pesche Guatiche. Pesche and Dondochakka charge their Cero simultaneously and combine them, forming a large, swirling sphere. They then fire the combined Cero, launching a multi-colored beam. However, it does seem to greatly drain Pesche and Dondochakka---both are panting and on the point of collapse after performing it.

 Cero Oscuras
Spanish for "Dark Zero," Japanese for "Black Hollow Flash" or more grammatically correct Cero Oscuro, is a black Cero used by Ulquiorra Cifer in his Resurrección form. He also compares it to Ichigo's black Getsuga Tenshō. It covers any exposed light into pitch darkness. Ulquiorra also referred to it as "our Cero." The Cero Oscuras' range is vast, and its attack power is massive. It is powerful enough to shatter Ichigo Kurosaki's entire Hollow mask and critically injure him in the process. It is strong enough to destroy half of the dome over Las Noches. The superior Cero Oscuras is far greater than an average Cero.

Cero Metralleta & Gran Rey Cero

This Post is about the two Hollow Flash.

Gran Rey Cero (王虚の閃光 (グラン・レイ・セロ), guran rei sero; Spanish for "Grand King Zero", Japanese for "Royal Hollow Flash") is a Cero that only Espada are capable of using. It is performed by mixing an Espada's own blood with the Cero. The result is a Cero with a much greater attack power and speed as well as a change of color unique to the Espada. It is also many times more powerful than a normal Cero, capable of disturbing the fabric of space, it also seems to spin like a razor upon release as it compresses and decompresses due to the sheer speed and raw power. It is a drastically potent Cero, used only by the Espada themselves. This attack was first used by Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez in order to incite Ichigo Kurosaki into donning his mask. It is stated by Ulquiorra that using a Gran Rey Cero is one of two things that are forbidden while in Las Noches, as it is so overwhelming that it could destroy the fortress.

Cero Metralleta (無限装弾虚閃 (セロ・メトラジェッタ), sero metorajetta; Spanish for "Sub-Machine Gun Zero", Japanese for "Infinite Ammunition Hollow Flash") is a variation performed by Coyote Starrk while in his Resurrección. By using his right pistol, Starrk is able to fire a barrage of Cero at his opponent. This was first seen used against Shunsui Kyōraku.

Character of the Day: Toshiro Hitsugaya

Today we are going to talk about Tōshirō Hitsugaya.

Tōshirō Hitsugaya is short, has turquoise eyes and short, spiked, white hair, which tends to draw attention in the Human world. He wears a standard sleeveless captain's haori with a green sash around his shoulders, held together by a round clip. The sash holds his Zanpakutō's sheath in place on his back and is tied to it at either end. He sometimes walks around in his tabi. He is relatively young by Shinigami standards and has the appearance of a child. In the Human world, he wears a black, short-sleeved, golf shirt and gray pants. He also wore the uniform of Karakura High School.

Hyōrinmaru (氷輪丸, "Ice Ring") When sealed, Hyōrinmaru looks like a normal katana with the exception of the guard, which is in the shape of a four-pointed bronze-colored star. Its hilt is light blue and sheath dark blue. The sheath completely dissolves when he draws his sword. The sword is somewhat longer than most Zanpakutō, at about 1.4 meters long, making it taller than Hitsugaya, preventing him from wearing it at the hip. Instead he carries it on his back by his green sash over his right shoulder. Hitsugaya is one of four people that carry a Zanpakutō on their back, the others being Ichigo Kurosaki, Love Aikawa, and Hiyori Sarugaki.
Bankai: Daiguren Hyōrinmaru (大紅蓮 氷輪丸, "Grand Crimson Lotus Ice Ring"; Viz "Great Roaring Coldly Shining Moon"): causes ice to flow from Hyōrinmaru onto Hitsugaya, starting at his right arm which ice forms onto in the shape of a dragon's head around his sword hand, encasing the sword up to the hilt; which also changes from the shape of a four-pointed star to that of eight-pointed star. The ice continues forming up over his shoulders with two large wings sprouting from his back and a long tail. The ice forms down his left arm encasing his hand which ends in a claw. Hitsugaya's feet are encased in ice in a similar manner to his left hand which as they to end in claws. These new ice limbs are movable and can be used as an extension of himself to aid in battle. During some appearances of his Bankai, three flowers of ice form floating behind him, each consisting of four purple petals shaped like diamonds. These petals melt away petal by petal as Hitsugaya's battle progresses, leading Shawlong Kūfang to speculate that Hitsugaya's Bankai will fade when all twelve petals disappear, assuming that the captain's Bankai was incomplete due to his young age. During his fight with Luppi, these petals were noticeably absent; however, during his fight with Tier Harribel, they were present once more and they also appeared once again with his fight with Aizen.

Character of the Day: Loly Aivirrne

Today we are going to talk about Loly Aivirrne

Loly is a teenage-looking, female Arrancar with long, pigtailed black hair, a slender build, and light-pink eyes. The remnants of her mask cover her left eye, and has teeth still connected to it, though the hair ties might also be part of her mask fragments as the left one seems to connect to the eyepiece on her left temple.

Resurrección: Its release command is Poison (毒せ, dokuse). In her released state, she takes on the form of a centipede-like creature. Her mask grows and covers both of her cheeks. She grows armor over her legs, arms, breasts, and neck. Her arms take the form of two long centipede-like creatures. They have the body of a centipede without the head.
Resurrección Special Ability: Anything she touches in this form is instantly eroded away by the poison that drips from her arms.
